I tried using materials to interpret a phrase I encountered online: ‘Be kind. It costs nothing.’ Foam, with its softness, elasticity, and supportive nature, resonated with the meaning of this phrase, so I chose it as the medium for my work. The artwork was photographed on the grass, with the sunlight creating beautiful shadows that complemented the text. ‘Make a gift of roses while your hands stay a lingering fragrance.’ Kindness requires no cost, and this world needs it more.
